Privacy Collection Notice

When you create an account we collect your email address, a password and a display name so we can identify you and keep your journal in sync. As you use FieldNote we collect the cafés you save and visit, your notes, ratings, tags and photos, the suburbs you search and, if you allow it, your approximate location. We use this to show cafés nearby, build your passport and make recommendations.

You can browse public café information without an account. An email address and password are required to create an account. Location is optional, and you can always search by suburb or postcode instead.

Our service providers for database and storage, payments, maps and email delivery. These providers may hold information outside Australia. We do not sell your information and we do not give it to advertisers for their own marketing.

You can view, correct and delete your information in Profile. To request a copy, ask for a correction or make a privacy complaint, email info@fieldnotecoffee.com.au. Our Privacy Policy explains the full process, including how to contact the OAIC.
